Ensure your child’s spot on a team (space is limited), click on the large orange ‘Register Now’ button on the right side of the home page. The registration process is relatively standard, and below is some additional information/guidance:
1a. Signing in / Returning Users:
Families that registered for our St. Joe's program in the past will already have an account. Click "Sign in" in the upper right, and enter your email address and password. If you don't remember your password, click "forgot?", enter your email address, and click "Submit" and follow the rest of the steps.
1b. Signing in / New Users should follow these steps:
After clicking on “Register Now”, scroll down to choose the appropriate division and click on "Begin Registration". On the next page, make sure the correct division was selected, and click "Continue".
Click on "Create Account" located under "Not a Member" on the right side of the page. Enter your email address, and then click on "Create my account".
An email will be sent to you. Click on the link in that email that will then return you to the web site to complete the process. Enter a password for your account. Confirm the password, and then your account will be created (all of your children can be registered through this one account).
2. Select the appropriate league (gender and grade) for each player’s registration. If you are registering multiple players, you’ll need to complete the registration process for as many players as needed.
3. Complete each page of the registration
form as appropriate. Again, most of the form is standard, with the following additional guidelines:
Wherever the ‘Roster’ choice appears on a drop-down, we recommend leaving this as is.
Cell Phone/Provider: We recommend completing these fields, as we will continue to expand our use of alerts to parents and players.
ID field: leave blank; any entry will be ignored
‘Remind Me Of’ fields: we recommend leaving these checked to take advantage of any alerts we might send.
Player contact info: this is optional, but kids with cell phones and email have asked about getting their team’s emails, alerts, etc.
4. Be sure to complete the payment process. If you don’t, the registration will not be captured and your information will not be collected. Multiple secure methods of payment are available, including credit card (MasterCard or Visa) or a money transfer if desired. The fee for the upcoming season is$215 per child ($205 for each additional sibling).
5. Make sure you receive an email that confirms
your registration. This email comes from ‘SJB’ and from the address ‘Notification@LeagueAthletics.com’ (it shouldn’t hit your spam, but if you don’t get one, be sure to check there too). If you don’t receive this email, your registration is not complete.
We need coaches!:This program cannot run without coaches, so please volunteer to be a head or assistant coach. If you have questions or need more information, contact us at

RefereeProgram:Our referee program is open to students (9th grade and up). It’s a great part-time job, and an opportunity to work with kids and earn some money. Please submit your interest via email to email@example.com. No experience as a referee is necessary, but selection will depend on A) experience playing the game (especially in our program), B) demonstrated knowledge of the rules, and C) availability from December through mid-March. Once selected, referees will be trained, scheduled, paid, and continuously evaluated for quality by St. Joe's Basketball.
Community Service Program:Needham High School and many private high schools in the area require students to complete a specific amount of Community Service hours to graduate. Saint Joe’s welcomes former players and others to fulfill these requirements as assistant coaches, scorekeepers, and helpers. Contact your high school for information regarding these requirements.
